Rain, thunderstorm and lightning warning in 12 Odisha districts for next 24 hours

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate thundershower in as many 12 districts of Odisha for next 24 hours.

Parts of Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj and Puri are likely to witness thunderstorm accompanied by lightning.

These weather conditions are likely to prevail till 8:30 am tomorrow.

The weathermen have warned fishermen not to venture into the sea along the Odisha coast for the next 24 hours due to high waves and rough sea condition.
