Rain, thunderstorm likely to lash 19 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre today issued thunderstorm alert for as many as 19 districts across the state today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the regional MeT Centre here, moderate thunderstorm accompanied with light rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over districts of Malkangiri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadark, Jajpur, Balasore, Dhenkanal, Angul, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar), Kandhamal, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh and Bolangir.

The weather condition is likely to prevail in the areas till 8 pm today, the weathermen added.
