Rain to lash 12 districts across Odisha from Feb 8

Bhubaneswar: Rain accompanied with lightning likely to lash various places in 12 districts across the State between February 8 and 10 under the impact of a strong western disturbance approaching Eastern India.

As per a latest bulletin used by the Regional MeT Department, “light rain or thunder shower is likely to occur at one or two places over districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Balangir, Sonepur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj from February 8 to February 9”. Besides, light rain likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of north and south coastal Odisha from February 9 to February 10.

Besides, dry weather likely to prevail over the districts of spith interior Odisha, the bulletin read.

This apart, cold and dry weather condition will continue to prevail across Odisha till February 7.

“The night temperature is likely ti rise gradually by 2-3 degree Celsius over the districts of Odisha during the next three days,” the bulletin added.
