Rainfall in Odisha likely till Oct 5 as low pressure forms

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience rainfall till October 5 as a low pressure area has formed over west central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal off south Odisha coast, the Regional Meteorological Centre predicted.

Here’s day-wise weather forecast for Odisha till October 5:

October 1: Orange Warning- Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Bolangir, Sonepur, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Yellow Warning- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal, Boudh, Kalahandi, Angul, Cuttack, Puri, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Sambalpur.

October 2: Yellow Warning- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Puri, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Sambalpur and Kandhamal.

October 3: Orange Warning- Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Angul, Boudh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Dhenkanal and Cuttack.

Yellow Warning- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Nayagarh, Khordha, and Puri.

October 4: Orange Warning- Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Nabarangpur and Rayagada.

Yellow Warning- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Ganjam, Boudh, Angul, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

October 5: Orange Warning- Heavy to very Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Bolangir, and Kalahandi.

Yellow Warning- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Ganjam.
