Rainfall likely to increase in Odisha from today; Check day-wise forecast

Bhubaneswar: Rainfall activity will increase in Odisha from today as a cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge into northeast and adjoining eastcentral Bay of Bengal.

The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued rainfall warning for many districts of the state in this connection.

Below is day-wise weather forecast for Odisha:

October 1: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, and Jagatsinghpur.

October 2: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Gajapati.

October 3: Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam and Kandhamal.

Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Boudh, Nayagarh, Gajapati, Kendrapara, Khordha, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Balasore.

October 4: Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Kalahandi and Kandhamal.

Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Ganjam, Boudh, Bolangir, Nayagarh, Puri, Rayagada, Khordha, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Balasore.
