Rainfall, thunderstorm to lash 9 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Though heatwave alert has been issued for western parts of Odisha, thunderstorm and rainfall are likely in as many as nine districts of the state today.

Moderate thunderstorm and light rainfall accompanied by lightning will occur in parts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Malkangiri and Puri, as per the latest weather bulletin.

The Regional Meteorological Centre has predicted such weather conditions between 2:15 pm and 5:15 pm this afternoon.
