Rajendra College and four others to get varsity status soon

Rajendra College of Bolangir and five other colleges will be soon accorded university status; an announcement in this regard will be made very soon, informed School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra on the occasion of the launching of Aahar programme here today.

Colleges in the districts of Bolangir, Subarnapur, Nuapada and Kalahandi will come under these universities.

“The government has plans to accord university status to five colleges. Rajendra College is one among them. Since new universities in different places are running successfully, hence it has been decided to open new universities. Officers will be appointed for managing these universities. This will lead to quality development in the sphere of education,” stated Mishra.
