Rajesh Pravakar Patil appointed new BMC Commissioner

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government appointed IAS Officer Rajesh Pravakar Patil as the new Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), replacing Vijay Amrut Kulange.

The 2005-batch IAS Officer is currently serving as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary at the Co-operation Department and Special Secretary at the Housing & Urban Development Department in additional charge.

With Rajesh Patil’s posting as the BMC Commissioner, he is allowed to remain in the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary at the Co-operation Department and Special Secretary at the Housing & Urban Development Department.

The 2013-batch IAS Officer Vijay Amrut Kulange, who has been allowed to proceed on leave for one month, will be posted after his return from leave.
