Union Home minister Rajnath Singh talked to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik this morning about preparedness measures for Cyclone Hudhud, which is expected to hit the Andhra Odisha coast on Sunday.
The Home minister, during his telephonic conversation with Patnaik, assured all help to the Odisha government to meet the challenge of the cyclone.
Singh also talked to the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, the two other states that are likely to be affected by the cyclonic storm.
"Assured the CMs all help from the centre. The centre is monitoring the progression of 'Hudhud' expected to hit the coast in the next 24 hrs," Singh tweeted after the talks.
