‘Ramayana’ actress Dipika Chikhlia visits Puri Jagannath Temple, praises Parikrama project

Puri: Actress Dipika Chikhlia, who played the character of Goddess Sita in Ramanand Sagar-directed TV series ‘Ramayan’, visited the Shree Jagannath Temple here on Sunday.

Dipika reportedly visited the shrine after 30 years and had darshan of the deities with her family members.

Speaking to reporters, the actress praised the Parikrama project and termed it ‘beautiful’.

“It was a good experience. I pray that everyone who comes here to pray lives a happy life. The arrangements here are very good. We took help from the state authorities for visiting the shrine. Police and officers were there with us throughout,” she said.
