Ramdev releases research paper on ‘1st evidence-based’ COVID-19 medicine
Bhubaneswar: Yoga Guru and founder of Patanjali Ramdev today released a scientific research paper on ‘First evidence-based medicine for COVID-19’ .
It is pertinent to mention here that the Ayurved company had launched medicine ‘Coronil’ for COVID-19 last year.
Today, Ramdev released the research paper at an event in the presence of Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
Patanjali Ayurveda tweeted, “With the guidance of Pujya Swami Ji & Pujya Acharya Ji & the hard work of scientists at Patanjali Research Institute, the efforts have been successful.”

Earlier, In June 2020, Patanjali had launched Coronil and Swasari. The Ayurved company claimed that the medication proved quite effective in treating COVID-19 patients, who were being treated at Haridwar’s Patanjali Yogpeeth. However, its advertising was barred by the Ayush Ministry then.
After around nine months, the herbal medicine tool kit by Patanjali has received recognition after the research paper was presented.
