Ratha Jatra: 26 long distance trains to/from Puri to be short-terminated

Bhubaneswar: In view of possible influx of tourists to Puri during Ratha Jatra in July this year, the Railway authorities in coordination with Odisha Government decided to short-terminate the trains to/from Puri  to break the chain of COVID-19 infection.

As per the decision, 26 long distance trains will run upto and originate from Khurda Road instead of Puri.

While 21 pairs of special trains will originate from and terminate at Khurda Road instead of Puri till 3rd week of July, 5 pairs of weekly special trains to/from Puri will originate from and terminate at Khurda Road on specific days.

The stretch between Khurda Road and Puri will remain cancelled from both the directions.
