Record 1,409 COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported the highest single-day recoveries of 1,409 COVID-19 patients today. With this the number of recovered cases in the State stands at 24,482.

The maximum of 258 from Ganjam recuperated from the disease followed by 218 from Khordha, 128 from Rayagada, 122 from Sundergarh, 121 from Puri and 120 from Gajapati.

A total of 84 from Koraput, 68 from Cuttack, 58 from Balasore, 34 from Nabarangpur, 30 from Kandhamal, 25 from Jajpur and 24 from Malkangiri district recovered from the virus.

As many as 19 from Keonjhar, 16 from Balangir, 12 each from Bargarh and Kendrapada, 11 from Jharsuguda, 10 from Nayagarh and nine from Boudh districts recovered.

Eight from Nuapada, seven from Mayurbhanj, five from Dhenkanal and four from Bhadrak district recuperated whereas two each from Angul and Jagatsinghpur and one each from Deogarh and Kalahandi districts recovered from the disease.
