Record number of COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The total number of COVID-19 patient recovery cases in Odisha was registered at 243, an all-time high recovery in the State in a day. With this the recovery cases in the State stand at 5189 so far.

The maximum number of 59 patients from Gajapati district recovered.

A total of 41 from Ganjam, 38 from Khordha, 17 from Kandhamal, 15 from Jharsuguda, 10 from Sundergarh and eight each from Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara districts cured of the infection.

Seven from Koraput, six each from Bargarh and Mayurbhanj, five from Jagatsinghpur, four each from Cuttack, Malkangiri and Nabarangpur, two from Balasore and one from Kalahandi districts recovered from the disease.
