The bullet-riddled body of the deceased identified as Arjun Khara was found in a nearby forest in the wee hours today.

A hand-written note was found besides his body in which the ultras have mentioned that Khara has been punished for working as a police informer and helped police in the recent encounter at Dadhaput. Besides, he was working as an informer at Gobindpalli and Karireput.

Notably, a group of around 20 ultras stormed into the village last night and took Khara along with them. His body was found this morning.

Meanwhile, combing operation and patrolling in the area has been intensified.

Earlier on Sep 20, a tribal—Trinath Madhi—was killed by the rebels under Mathili police station limits in the district suspecting him to be a police informer.
