Reliance Jio announces 5G launch in 10 more cities including Odisha’s Talcher

Starting today, Jio users in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer to experience Unlimited Data at up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost.

Bhubaneswar / Mumbai: Talcher in Odisha’s Angul district became the latest to avail the benefits of Reliance Jio’s True 5G network as the company announced the launch of its services in the city today. With this, 13 cities across the State will be able to enjoy the True 5G services.

Along with Talcher, Jio announced launch of True 5G across 10 more cities across eight states in the country including Hindupur, Madanapalle, Proddatur (Andhra Pradesh), Raigarh (Chhattisgarh), , Patiala (Punjab), Alwar (Rajasthan), Mancherial (Telangana), Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Roorkee (Uttarakhand), taking the total count of cities enjoying Jio True 5G to 236.

Previously, in Odisha, Jio had  launched True 5G services in the cities of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Berhampur, Sambalpur, Balasore, Baripada, Bhadrak, Jharsuguda, Puri, Balangir and Nalco-Angul. In most of these cities Jio has been the first and the only operator to launch 5G services.

Commenting on the occasion, Jio spokesperson said,”We are proud to rollout Jio True 5G services in these 10 cities across 8 states. With this launch, Jio users across 236 cities can enjoy the transformational benefits of Jio True 5G in the new year 2023.
