Reminder! Registration for UGC NET exams closes tomorrow

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Registration for the December 2020 edition of the UGC NET examination has been announced to close on March 2.  Registered candidates will, however, be allowed to deposit their application fee by March 3.

As per the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) announcement, the National Eligibility Test (NET) examinations for various subjects will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between May 2 and May 17.

Candidates who have a Master’s degree in their respective subjects can apply online on or before May 2.  The cut-off marks for appearing for the test is 55% for general category candidates, and 50% for candidates from OBC, SC/ST, PwD and third gender categories respectively.

Any Master’s degree holder under the age of 31 years can apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in the December 2020 edition of the UGC NET exams.

Like every year, candidates will appear a computer-based test that will comprise of two papers. Total marks of the tests will be 300.
