Results of Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test to be declared by Nov 21

Bhubaneswar: Results of the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) will be declared by November 21, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash following a meeting of the department officials here today.

Accepting that there are some errors in OTET question papers, Das directed officials of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) to carry out a probe and resolve the issue at the earliest.

The minister further asked the board to return the money deposited by students for re-evaluation of answer papers.

Alleging blunders in question papers, some students had staged protests against the board earlier. They had also demanded withdrawal of the board’s decision to charge Rs 500 fee for rechecking.

The test was done in August online for the first time this year after paper leakages and cancellation of the exam.
