Retired IAS officer Hrusikesh Panda, two other eminent personalities join BJP in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Noted litterateur and former IAS topper Hrusikesh Panda, retired Air Marshal of Indian Navy Dilip Kumar Patnaik, and former Joint Secretary of Rajya Sabha Ramakanta Das from Odisha joined the state unit of BJP today.

In an inclusion ceremony held at the BJP state office in Bhubaneswar, Hrusikesh Panda, Dilip Kumar Patnaik, and Ramakanta Das were officially welcomed to the party.

Born in Kalidaspur village under Basudevpur block of Bhadrak district, bureaucrat Panda was the topper in the 1979 Batch. He held several important positions in both the State and Central governments.

BJP Odisha in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, assistant in-charge Lata Usendi, the party’s sitting president Manmohan Samal, former president Samir Mohanty, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi and former DGP Prakash Mishra, including several other senior leaders were present on the occasion.
