RI, Additional Tehsildar among 3 attacked inside office in Odisha

Bhadrak: An Additional Tehsildar and a Revenue inspector (RI) were severely injured after unidentified miscreants barged inside the RI office at Manjuri Road under Bhandaripokhari police limits in Bhadrak district and attacked them today.

Sources said some sand Mafia barged inside the RI office and started attacking the office-bearers. Additional Tehsildar Sarat Chandra Swain, RI Ram Narayan Samal and another staff identified as Pradeep Kumar Jena were admitted to Bhandaripokhari Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment.

On receiving information,police reached the spot and began an inquiry in this connection. However, no arrest was made in this connection till last reports came in.
