‘RIKKI’ comes to aid of cyclone FANI-hit victims in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In the aftermath of Cyclone FANI, members of civil society have united in the face of adversity to aid in the relief and restoration work currently underway in cyclone affected areas of the state

Operation ‘RIKKI’, organised by Round Table India (RTI) and Ladies Circle India (LCI) has been supplying relief materials in parts of Bhubaneswar and villages of Puri and Jagatsinghpur to help victims of the cyclone get back on their feet.

Starting from providing dry food packets, fresh meals cooked in LIVE kitchens, supply of potable water, to handing out solar lamps, sanitary napkins, baby food and diapers, this operation has benefitted many, post cyclone and will continue till normalcy has been restored.

“We shall also organize plantation drives and rebuild homes and schools after relief work is complete,” informed Kabir Taneja of RTI.

Members of RTI like Pankaj Motwani, Naval Mahajan, Gaurav Chawla, Akshat Saklani and Rohan Das, along with Anuradha agarwal, Chandni Saklani and Rashmi Garg of LCI have been instrumental in the execution of this relief and restoration drive.
