“We demand immediate intervention of the Chief Minister in the matter. The Chief Minister should immediately intervene and order for a probe into the murder and video clip. A forensic examination of the video clip should be done at a central laboratory. If the government fails to wake up to the situation Bharatiya Janata Party will intensify its agitation. We have called for a two-hour chakka jam from 10 AM to noon in all municipalities and NACs across the state tomorrow,” said Prithviraj Harichandan general secretary of the BJP state unit addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here today.
On the other hand, BJD spokesperson Samir Ranjan Dash said: “Investigation is on. The court too has ordered investigating agencies to submit their basis of investigation to it on 28th of December, the next date of hearing on the matter. We should wait for the investigation process to be over. If the investigation finds him guilty, then certainly party president Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will take appropriate action.”
