Bhubaneswar: A speeding truck hit a stationary container truck on flyover near Saheed Nagar police station in Odisha capital late last night killing the driver of the truck and injuring a person.

The deceased has been identified as Mallappa Kuri of Karnataka. The injured one has been admitted to the Capital Hospital here for treatment.

The mishap took place as the ill-fated truck hit the container truck which was parked on roadside. Police have seized the two vehicles and started investigation.
