Jharsuguda: Enforcing a stricter restriction to curb spread of the deadly Coronavirus, Jharsuguda district administration has ordered closure of all roadside eateries for the next 15 days starting today.
And, stringent action will be taken against the violators, said Collector Saroj Kumar in a tweet.
However, the district administration will incentivize the small businessmen of Rs 2500 each for compliance of the order, he added.
There will be no road side vending of fast food and other readymade cooked edibles for 15 days in our district from 25.09.2020 to contain the spread of COVID. Such small businessmen will be incentivised @2500/- per capita for compliance. Deviation will invite penal action.

It is pertinent to mention here that the district is witnessing a rise in COVID-19 positive cases since around mid August. So far, its has reported 3910 positive cases, which include 982 positive cases. While 2927 patients have recovered, one succumbed to the virus.
