Robbery bid foiled in Odisha Capital, 5 held

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police today foiled a robbery bid in Airfield police limits in Bhubaneswar today evening.

While five suspected dacoits were scheming to execute their robbery plans near Hitech Plaza in Airfield area, a team of Commissionerate Police raided the place and nabbed five dacoits.

Also, the police personnel seized a pistol, four live bullets, three swords, cash and chilly powder from the possession of the five accused.

Official sources said the five dacoits are residents of Panchupalli village.
