As the validity of RSBY launched by the Centre ended on Dec 31, 2018, the Odisha Government decided to cover the existing RSBY beneficiaries under BKKY (Stream-II) by providing them a total of Rs 1 lakh insurance coverage under this BKKY (Stream-II) card, he told media in a press conference.

All the RSBY beneficiaries have been provided the BKKY (Stream-II) cards. Those beneficiaries, who have not received the card, can get it by showing their RSBY card at BKKY kiosk located at every District Headquarters Hospital or can contact the Deputy Director of Agriculture/District Coordinator-SHAS of respective districts.

The collectors have been directed to take initiative on a priority basis to ensure the RSBY beneficiaries to avail the BKKY card at earliest. The beneficiaries have been suggested to collect BKKY stream-II card in exchange of existing RSBY card from their nearest BKKY kiosks, he said.
