RTO office to provide learner’s license online in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view heavy rush to get learner’s license, the Regional Transport Office (RTO)-I Bhubaneswar today said applicants can obtain the license online.

The RTO-I office stated applicants will have to pay the required fee along with a written application to get the learner’s license. Applicants can download the document from the RTO website, said an official of the RTO. Also, someone can download vehicle fitness certificate from the website.

After the re-enforcement of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act in the State, people were seen making long queues to get their vehicles paper ready.

In different parts of the State, traffic police fined several motorists on charges of violating traffic rules or for failing to provide required documents since yesterday.

Though the State government has given a relaxation period of another three months to motorists for making their vehicle documents proper, long queues have been seen outside the two RTO offices in Bhubaneswar.
