S Shyni is new DIG of Odisha Crime Branch

Bhubaneswar: The state government today effected a minor reshuffle in the Odisha cadre IPS officers.

S Shyni (DIG South Western Range) posted at Koraput has been appointed as DIG of Crime Branch. Similarly, Himansu Kumar Lal, who is back from central deputation and had taken over as Additional Commissioner of Police (in-charge) Bhubaneswar-Cuttack recently, has been posted as DIG (Special Task Force).

Besides, Ashis Kumar Singh DIG (Southern Range) has been given the additional charge of DIG (South Western Range).
