Sachidananda Mohanty new DMET of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The state government today appointed Professor (Dr) Sachidananda Mohanty as the new Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET) in Odisha.

Mohanty is now on deputation as Superintendent of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, said a notification of the Health and Family Welfare department.

Mohanty will replace incumbent DMET Rama Raman Mohanty.

“Prof (Dr) Sachidananda Mohanty, at present on deputation as Superintendent, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, is posted as Director of Medical Education and Training, Odisha, with effective from 30.1. 2023 and from the date he actually assumes the charge. The NOC for extension of deputation of Dr. Sachidananda Mohanty issued vide this Department Letter no. 4418 dated 7.3.2022 is superseded accordingly,” said the notification.
