Sachin Tendulkar tests positive for COVID-19

Bhubaneswar: God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The legendary cricketer informed it on a microblogging site today.

Taking to Twitter, Sachin wrote, “I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative.”

As part of precautionary measure to contain spread of the infection, the former skipper has quarantined himself.

“I have quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctors. I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country,” Sachin further tweeted.

Sachin also requested all his fans to take care of themselves during this testing times.
