Safari bus gets stuck in Odisha’s Nandankanan, tourists rescued

Bhubaneswar: The tourists in Nandankanan Zoological Park were frightened after a bus got stuck in the mud in Lion Safari for around 30 minutes here today.

The tourists were later rescued by another bus that rushed the spot following the incident.

The bus was carrying at least 45 tourists to Lion Safari to view the free movements of lions in the zoo.

According to reports, the bus stuck in mud could not move forward after entering the Lion Safari. Acting on the information, the Nandankanan authorities sent another bus to rescue the visitors after putting two lions in a cage.
