Safari bus meets with accident in Odisha’s Nandankanan, 3 tourists injured

Bhubaneswar: As many as three persons were injured after a bus carrying tourists inside Lion Safari of Nandankanan Zoological Park met with an accident here today.

The injured tourists were rushed to a private hospital for treatment.

According to reports, the tourists were wounded inside the bus after it skidded off the track and went out of control inside Lion Safari in the zoo this afternoon.

The incident came barely one and half month after a bus carrying the tourists got stuck in mud inside the Lion Safari. The panicked tourists spent around 30 minutes inside the bus at the Safari in November last year.
