Sambad State-Level Annual Competition-2021; Know details here

Bhubaneswar: State-Level Annual Competition-2021 organised by Sambad Group, Odisha’s leading media conglomerate, kickstarted today to mark its 38th Foundation Day.

The competition is being held in five categories — drawing, handwriting, quiz, debate and song (Saregama) — for students of different age groups with exciting prizes.

Like every year, Sambad Group is conducting the State-Level Annual Competition on occasion of its Foundation Day. While the drawing, handwriting, and quiz competitions started today online, the debate and song competitions will be organised offline. The date for offline events will be announced soon.

However, online registration is mandatory for the students to take part in the competitions.

To participate in above competitions, the students need to register themselves on Sambad Ama Odisha.

The candidates can download Sambad Ama Odisha App from play store on their phones and do registration for the competitions.

While the drawing competition is being held on following subjects — Tulasi Chaura/Cycle/Rural Road — for the students between Class 1 and 5, the handwriting competition is being conducted for Class 6 and 8 and quiz competition took place online for the students between Class 9 and 10.

The students participating in drawing competition are advised to write their name, phone number, registration number, school name, class, Block name of school and district on their drawing sheet, and upload one piece of art out of three on Sambad Ama Odisha App by 12.00 PM on September 19. For the handwriting competition, which is being held among students of Class 6-8, the contestants need to upload handwriting copy on Sambad Ama Odisha App by 12.00 PM today, mentioning their name, phone number, registration number, school name, class, Block name of school and district in an A-4 size paper.

The quiz competition is being held online for the students of Class 9 and 10. To take part in the competition, the participants need to click on Quiz icon after opening Sambad Ama Odisha App. After furnishing registration and other details like phone number, questions will be displayed on the screen. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and wrong answer carries (-) 0.50 mark. The test commenced at 10.00 AM today and the duration was 20 minutes. Three successful candidates from each district will be selected to the final round, which will take place online on September 26 (Sunday). In the final round of quiz contest, top 3 candidates will be awarded in Bhubaneswar.

This apart, the college and university students can participate in debate and song competitions on physical mode after making registration online.

The cash reward for First, Second and Third positions is Rs 10,000, Rs 7,500, and 5,000, respectively, in each category.
