Sambad’s Ama Panji 2023 released

Bhubaneswar: Ama Panji published by Sambad Group for the year 2023-24 was released here this morning.

Sambad Group’s Chairman as well as Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, unveiled the Hindu almanac at Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar following rituals at Lord Lingaraj (Lord Shiva) on the auspicious occasion of Dola Purnima.

The leading Hindu almanac was also offered to Lord Jagannath at Srimandir in Puri today.

Every year, Ama Panji is unveiled after offering it at the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar and Jagannath Temple in Puri.

“Everyone knows the need of Panji in Odia culture. We have tried our best to prepare an error-free almanac for this year. The readers can avail Ama Panji at an affordable price,” said Patnaik.

There are 365 days in a year unless the year is a leap year. Many other Hindu almanacs have been prepared for 366 days this year. However, such blunder has been avoided in Ama Panji,” said almanac maker Dolagobinda Panda.
