Sambalpur: The Plus III final year examination of Physics subject was cancelled at the Sambalpur University following question paper leak ahead of the examination scheduled today.
The question paper of Physics (Hons) was reportedly leaked before the examination, admitted the Controller of Examination today.
Following question paper leak, the Physics examination scheduled at 10 am today has been cancelled. The new date for holding the examination in the particular subject will be announced later, the varsity authorities told media.
Yesterday, the university authorities had suspended the Education (Hons) exam after question paper leak.
Earlier, the rumours of question paper leak in physics subject were doing the rounds in media.
Reportedly, the screenshots of question papers were circulated on WhatsApp late on July 11 night, just three days before the Physics Exam for the students of Plus III final year.
However, the university authorities had denied the allegation of question paper leak in physics (hons) subject on various social media platforms. They termed the incident a ‘mischief of some unscrupulous person’ aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the premier educational institution.
