Odisha thrashed Bihar by 5-0 goals in the 68th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy at Paljor stadium at Gangtok on Monday.
Odisha drew first blood in the 6th minute with team captain and centre forward Sk Mustakim and went on to make it 2-0 after mid-fielder Suresh Kujjur netted the second goal in 33rd minute.
In the second half, centre forward Niranjan Sardar increased the tally to 3-0 in 51st minute.
Though the Bihar players tried their best to stop the Odisha forwards, it was in vain as midfielder Sanatan Lohar scored the fourth goal of the match from a long range in the 84th minute while his mate and striker Arjun Naik completed the rout by scoring in the 92nd minute.
