Desertion from the Congress continued on Wednesday with senior leader Sarat Kar resigning from the party.

In a letter to AICC president Sonia Gandhi, Kar said he took the decision due to the negligent attitude of the party leadership towards senior leaders.

Later, briefing the media, Kar said he is yet to decide which party he would join after quitting the Congress.
