SCERT online entrance test rescheduled to August 16

Bhubaneswar: In view of the proposed nationwide strike called by the transport associations tomorrow, the authorities deferred the SCERT online entrance test till August 16.

Due to proposed 24-hour transport strike on August 7, the online entrance examination will be held on August 16 as per schedule instead of August 7, informed Pratap Chandra Dash, Director, Directorate of Teacher Education and State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Bhubaneswar.

The online entrance examination for admission into the courses — B.ED, M.ED, D.EI.ED, B.P.ED, B.H.ED and M.Phil — offered by the Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT was to be conducted on August 7 till 14 at 49 technical institutions in 15 districts.

The exam will be conducted in four sittings every day.

As per the instructions issued by the SCERT authorities, the applicants need to reach the exam centre with admit card 30 minutes before commencement of the examination.

As per the exam schedule, the first sitting test will begin from 8.30 am till 10.00 am; the second sitting from 11.15 am to 12.15 pm, third sitting from 2.00 to 3.30 pm and the fourth sitting will take place from 4.45 pm to 6.15 pm.
