Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has directed District Education Officers (DEOs) to complete admissions into elementary/secondary classes across the state by July 15.

The admission process will be conducted between 7 AM and 9.30 AM everyday on all working days. Not more than five students/parents will be allowed at a time to visit school for admission, official sources said.

COVID-19 precautionary measures such as using masks, social distancing and sanitization will be followed strictly when students/parents come to school for admission, sources added.

Notably, schools in the state have been closed since March 20 due to COVID-19 situation.
