Science Express train to reach Odisha’s Chhatrapur Wednesday

After successful exhibition at Bhadrak and Puri railway stations, Science Express Climate Action Special (SECAC), an Exhibition on Wheel Train to perform exhibition at Chhatrapur from Wednesday to create awareness among various sections of society, especially students, teachers and general public about the climate change and similar issues.

This Science Express Exhibition Special Train mounted on a customised 16 coach AC Train is an initiative of Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India in collaboration with other Ministries like Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC); Department of Bio-technology and Ministry of Railways and has been designed by Vikram-A-Sarabhai Community Science Centre.

The Exhibition Train has been designed to make people aware of implications of global warming and climate change and will open to public at Chhatrapur Railway Station from 1000hrs to 1800hrs from 17^th to 19^th May. The Train will be displayed for public at Kottavalasa Railway Station from 20^th to 23^rdMay in East Coast Railway jurisdiction. There is free entry for the visitors of Science Express.
