Film Journalists' Forum (FJF) is organising the screening of  Odia film 'KAA' at Jaydev Bhavan, Bhubaneswar on 10 Dec 2015. 'KAA' is an award-winning classical Odia movie that won the President's Silver medal for Best Odia Film in 1966. It is based on Kanhu Charan Mohanty's 1953 literary  masterpiece that goes by the same name and was awarded the Central Sahitya Akademi award in 1958.

This movie saw the debut of a lot of artistes into cinema such as Guru Mayadhar Rout as dance director, danseuse Sanjukta Panigrahi and Devdas Chhotray as lyricist. This movie became actors Gaura Prasad Ghosh and Parbati Ghose's biggest success.

The show will begin at six in the evening and will be followed by a brief ceremony where those associated with the movie will be felicitated.
