Season tickets for passenger trains resume in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Good news for daily commuters as East Coast Railway (ECoR) resumed Monthly and Quarterly season tickets with effect from today in six pairs of passenger special trains.

These trains are: 

01. 08428/08427 Puri-Angul-Puri Special.

02. 08456/08455 Khurda Road-Kendujhargarh-Khurda Road Special.

03. 08522/08521 Visakhapatnam-Gunupur-Visakhapatnam Special.

04. 08528/08527 Visakhapatnam-Raipur-Visakhapatnam Special.

05. 08263/08264 Titilagarh-Bilaspur-Titilagarh Special.

06. 07266/07265 Visakhapatnam-Kakinada Port-Visakhapatnam Special.

With reinstatement of Monthly Season Ticket (MST) and Quarterly Season Ticket (QST) in passenger trains, the daily commuters will be able to travel on trains at affordable cost.

This apart, the passengers now can recharge their ATVM Smart Card online through the Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) on website/mobile app instead of visiting railway station booking centre.

The passengers can use all digital payments online for recharging the ATVM Smart Cards, informed the East Coast Railway in a release today.

For recharging the Smart Card online, the passenger needs to visit the website www.utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in and register first to create an account. If the passenger is already registered for mobile ticketing, same account can be used. After successful login, passenger has to select Menu option “SMART CARD RECHARGE” and feed ATVM Smart Card Stock Number which is printed on the Card. Then passenger has to enter valid recharge amount and agree to complete the top up at ATVM within specified time period.

{Note: Railway Smart Card is used to purchase tickets through ATVM (Automatic Ticket Vending Machine). It can be purchased at booking offices at any suburban stations and recharged as per requirements.}
