Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police has made elaborate security arrangements in view of President Droupadi Murmu's Odisha visit from tomorrow.

"A total of 36 platoons of police force, 3 Quick Response Teams, 2 Special Tactical Units, 12 Additional DCPs, 25 ACPs, 40 Inspectors, and 120 SIs and ASIs will be deployed during the President's visit to the state," said Prateek Singh, Bhubaneswar DCP.

This apart, 160 Traffic personnel and 150 homeguards will be roped in, the DCP said.

Security arrangements at all venues have been made as per the protocols. Traffic arrangements have been made accordingly, he said.

The final carcade rehearsal from the city airport to the Raj Bhawan was held today.

The President is scheduled to reach Bhubaneswar tomorrow in the evening and spend the night at Raj Bhawan.

Murmu will attend various events in Cuttack, including the 10th convocation of the National Law University, on July 26.

She will lay the foundation stone of the Divine Light Hose of Prajapati Brahmakumari on July 27.
