Security beefed up for Odisha Budget session-2023

Bhubaneswar: Elaborate security arrangements have been made for Odisha Budget session-2023 that is set to commence from tomorrow.

Ahead of the annual budget session, Odisha DGP Sunil Bansal today reviewed the three-tier security arrangements.

Police sources said that 30 platoons of police force will be deployed around the State Assembly building.

Besides, two DCPs, 10 Additional DCPs and 11 ACPs will be present in the high security zone to prevent untoward incidents.

The Budget Session of Odisha Assembly will begin from February 21 with Governor’s address at the House at 11 am. The annual state budget for the fiscal 2023-24 will be presented on February 24. The session is scheduled to conclude on April 6.
