Ahmedabad-based civil engineering construction company Sadbhav Engineering Ltd (SEL) has bagged the Rs 140-crore highway widening project in Odisha.

The project involves the widening and strengthening of Raj-Athagarh-Narsinghpur Road to two-lane under State Highways Development Project (SHDP) on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.

"The Rs 139.5 crore project work has been awarded by the chief engineer, Roads, Bhubaneswar", the company sources said today.

While the duration of the project work is 24 months, the defect liability period is 24 months. The maintenance period for the highway is for 24 months from the date of completion, the sources added.
