Senior official of Rourkela Steel Plant succumbs to Covid
Rourkela: A senior official of the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) died due to coronavirus disease today.
As per reports, YG Patil was working as General Manager of Coke Oven department of RSP. After being afflicted by coronavirus, Patil had been undergoing treatment at the Ispat General Hospital (IGH) for past 20 days.

He succumbed to Covid-19 disease at 3 PM today. He was 59.
Patil’s mother died two days after he was admitted to the hospital. His father also died in recent past.
Patil joined the fertiliser plant of RSP in 1988.
RSP Officers’ association condoled Patil’s demise.
