Separate exam for OJEE aspirants who met with accident near Taptapani

Paralakhemundi: A separate sitting of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will be conducted for students of Gajapati district who missed the entrance due to a bus accidents near Taptapani in Ganjam district.

Informing this, Gajapati Collector Anupam Saha said the examination will be held on October 22 and students are requested to contact the district nodal officer on the number issued by the administration- 8763687848- to get for details regarding the exam.

“Keeping in mind the future of the students, who met with an accident, I requested the Chairman of OJEE to allow conduct the exam separately for the students. The Chairman accepted my request,” said Saha.

Earlier on  October 15, as many as 60 OJEE aspirants from Gajapati district were en-route to Khordha for appearing the exam today, 20 of them sustained injures after the ill-fated bus turned turtle. While negotiating a curve near Palukhola, the bus driver lost control and the vehicle overturned.
