Setting example for many, Odisha businessman ties knot with orphan girl

Bargarh: Orphaned at childhood, Chandini from Bargarh is all set to lead a new life. After Chandini got married to businessman Khirod Agarwal of Bargarh, meaning of life has changed for her as she got a family. The marriage took place amid fanfare in Ranisati temple in Bargarh town last evening.

Khirod, who also works as a social activist, used to visit an orphanage near cement factory in Bargarh to participate in birthday and other celebrations. During his visit to the orphanage, Khirod came in contact with Chandini. It was love at first sight for Khirod and Chandini. Later the duo decided to marry with the consent from Khirod’s family and authorities of the orphanage.

People from all walks of life attended the marriage feast and blessed the couple for a happy married life.

While leaving for her father-in-law’s house, Chandini was given a tearful farewell by inmates of the orphanage.

Khirod has got praises from all quarters for marrying an orphan girl without any dowry. A local said the young businessman has set an example for others by tying knot with Chandini and has drawn attention of the society for his noble work.
