Seven Arrested For Murderous Attack On Youth In Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police arrested as many as seven persons for allegedly launching a murderous attack on a youth in Unit-9 area of Odisha capital, police sources said today.

Cops have also seized three vehicles used by the accused while efforts were on by Saheed Nagar police to nab others involved in the incident, sources added.

Notably, a group of miscreants had allegedly chased and assaulted the victim, identified as Akash Dora, with swords and knives at a field near Postal Colony here on February 15 night leaving him critically injured. Dora was admitted to a private hospital in the city for treatment. The incident was a fallout of past enmity.
