Seven more COVID-19 cases detected in Odisha’s Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: As many as seven new COVID-19 cases were detected in Kalahandi district. With this the total number of positive cases in the district rises to 65.

Official sources said the new positive cases include four females. The seven new cases were staying at a temporary medical centre in Lanjigarh block following their return from Tamil Nadu.

After samples of the seven persons tested positive for the deadly COVID-19, they were shifted to the COVID hospital in Bhawanipatna, added official sources.

So far, 29 persons in the district cured of the virus infection and have been discharged from the COVID hospital. The total number of active cases in the district stands at 36 till yet.
